Clips has made it's arrival and has been well received in it's first days in the App Store. I am extremely excited about the potential of this application and where we are going to be able to take it in the upcoming months. One of the most exciting ideas for me as I've released this app is for the potential of youth pastors buying the app for their volunteers and parents of students. Here's what some people are saying about the app:
"I know RJ made this for youth workers, but it’s one of those things that could be useful for all sorts of people in ministry. Volunteer youth workers, student leaders, and even parents. As a parent, I’m always looking for ways to have a Bible-based conversation about something my kids are watching. This is really helpful." - Doug Fields "Occasionally, we are introduced to an iPhone app that we think is really great. Clips for iPhone is one of those apps." - Orange "It’s a resource you’ll want to make sure is in the hands of your small group leaders and parents, too. Help them turn movie time into worthwhile discussion. Tip: Use the iTunes “gift this” button and you can send it to the youth workers in your ministry. If you need a raise… gift it to your senior pastor." - Adam McLane
To celebrate the launch of Clips, I want to offer an incredible opportunity for you to share Clips with a parent or volunteer in your ministry. Your ministry cannot function without a team of volunteers, so give them resources to help them lead. Your youth ministry will fall apart if it's not partnering with parents; help equip parents to teach the scriptures. To help get this app in the hands of volunteers and parents we are giving away 20 copies.
